Interesting, although I personally dislike South America as a whole. Most of it's history is later in time past the comfort zone for timezones I would go for.
With the chinese one. Spring and Autumn Period does have merrit but of your assassins... Sun Tzu is wrong. Sun Wu (Author of the Art of War) and famously known as Sun Tzu was only a child during the spring and autumn period as he hadn't finished writing his famous "Art of War" until the Warring States Period which started in 476BC
Or you could even go with Sun Bin who is a descendent of Sun Wu's and wrote the also famous "Sun Bin's Art of War" and was commonly thought to be Sun Tzu as well for a long period of time. He died in 316BC.
