That's why they'd make good games. E.g., who actually knew anything about the Rennaisance before AC 2? I certainly didn't.
And if you're asking this in a 'how are they going to make it accurate' sort of way, there's bound to be plenty of historians who would like to work on an AC game (tbh, that's my dream job).
