Their could be like a camera angle that hides the actual deed where you could just see the character shooting into a guys back.
Other ideas:I'm thinking their could be other hiding spots besides haystacks. Dumpsters, abandoned vehicles, and wreckage could all help hard the character from enemies. Special enemies could include rogue assassins who are more intelligent then normal enemies and can only be killed by disarms, guns, and the enviroment. Regular sneak attacks wouldn't work.
You could destroy tanks but only by planting a grenade on the top of the vehicle. Afterwards the tank would explode and kill multiple enemies in the area.
And Assassination targets would run until an obstacle got in the way, at which point they would attempt to hide and have to be found with Eagle Sense.
I think their could be an activity similar to Clays glypse in ACII, where you'd have to uncover secrets about various famous people at the time.
