I really liked all of the games, but I personally think ACII was the best. It really nailed the story. The economic system added some taste to the game. The design of the cities in the game was spectacular! ACI was ok but i never really played with it after finishing the game. ACR wasn't the best game story wise, but with the added features, I guess it's ok. ACB was great, but it felt boring in 1 city. But of course if you don't mind a rather boring story, get ACR.
