Unlike some of the other players of the Assassin's Creed series, I played the original game first. I remember staying at a friend's house back in 2008 (or 2009, I don't recall) and seeing him play Assassin's Creed on his Xbox 360. I still possessed the original Xbox and was saving every penny I had for a new-generation console (worth it), but mainly for Halo 3 and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Ultimately disappointed in both's campaign), and I had never considered playing another game. However, just by looking at my friend playing, I was gradually brought to pester him until he handed me the controller. Ever since then, I have loved the Assassin's Creed franchise and got every part of it that I could, books, comics, and that encyclopedia included. And yes, I still think Altair is the ultimate badass of Assassins.
