In Revelations you didn't really have to earn it. You played the game for half an hour and then you had it again. That's not what I call earning a hidden blade. Plus, Ezio dun goofed on his part to lose his second hidden blade, twice. I can't remember if Haytham had two hidden blades from the beginning, but Connor earned both at the same time. Same with Edward. As for Aveline, well, I never played AC Liberation, but I'm considering buying the HD version, and then I'll find out. I simply think that the second hidden blade is a status symbol. Both Connor and Edward got them before they were even an Assassin, which kind of migitates the thought behind the second hidden blade.

In the story I'm currently writing, Roselle has the first two sequences + the prologue exclusively to herself as a playable character. Lucienne does make multiple appearances but isn't playable, and the story isn't focused on her. But the current story also has fourteen sequences (not counting prologue and epilogue), and I tried to lay the focus a bit more on Lucienne in a few other sequences, to balance the story over the two. You should see Lucienne more as a second protagonist rather than a deuteragonist. They both have their own sidelines and own missions, to ensure both get enough screen time. But some missions can simply be accomplished with either of them/both of them; That's just something I have always wanted to see in the AC series.
