AssassinBro, I agree with you, Ubisoft should clear this up! This theory that Altair changed his mind about sending the Apple to Cyprus is ridiculous, in my opinion. It's just a sorrow excuse to cover up Ubisoft's ass after this whole mess they made with the plot. Man just think about it, would plot like this ever come to life if they actually sit down and planned something?? So Altair clearly writes that he sent the Apple to Cyprus in the Codex, but he's like 'nah I've changed my mind, let me use this as a decoy and fool everyone hehe'. Then Templars put their hands in the Codex, read it, go to Cyprus and by a miraculous coincidence they find another Apple at the exact place Altair tried to use as a decoy for his.
