Superstition? No, I think it was a foundation of premeditated and theoretical unearthings. I'm sure there were Archaeologists throughout history. What they discovered could have been remainings of First Civilization architecture and technology but mistake it to be alien objects from their "Gods and Goddesses". So Superstiton is not the way to go with this, sorry.
