My guess is that they're just trying to throw everyone off by placing the random things from previous games such as Altair and Ezio. That said, the Greek disk is kind of suspicious. It definitely seemed like the Ones Who Came Before were who the Greeks based their gods off of. Minerva mentions humans worshiping them and what not, and her clothing definitely looked like it was from that time period. It may be that Desmond has to go back to a period where they still existed to find how to locate/operate them. That said, it does seem to go against the general trend of the ancestor's moving forward in time. I remember reading some pretty compelling stuff for either the American or French revolution that would work. Honestly though, just about anything works as long as it's a new ancestor. Not to knock ol' Altair and Ezio, but it's time for someone new
