I don't like Desmond because most of the series he was just sitting in Animus and doing nothing more. I have trouble with liking such passive character. He saw memories of his ancestors, but the player controlled Altair, Ezio, Heythan and Connor, not Desmond in those momories, he didn't do anything becuase they did it.

I even don't recognise Desmond's story as part of the game series, I try to pretend it never appeaerd in the game. I try to ignore it and focus on the the assassins we really controled in most of the series, not their distant descendant.
