The question the people that wanted him to survive is. What is he supposed to do after saving the world? Get rid of the Templars? Me: the Templar/Assassin war is never ending war. Become the new Mentor? Me: why?.

As a note those examples i gave is things i have heard by people that wanted him to survive the ending.
