If you're 18 I see no reason why you should allow him to take your stuff. The way you talk about him, you make him sound really strict. It's funny really, because the other day I went to see a movie rated 15 in the cinema with my dad & my brother; the movie had full-on nudity & violence etc... Now, here's the part I'm getting at here... I'm only just turning 14 today. So yeah, your father sounds really strict.
