They did not care about Crusaders and Saracens because we were killing from both sides equally.

Ezio is italian, so that Italian thing does not work. The whole Ottoman and Byzantine thing is extremely biased and I hated that.

The reason Connor is getting much attention is because it involves America. Let us be perfectly honest, Americans are never displayed as bad in games, movies or anything, really. And AC has been unbiased up till Revelations. So people got worried it would be a 'MERICA F*** YEAH! story, and they promised both sides being killed, and it took them up till now to show it.
