I planned my assassinations using the information gathered from the investigations (back then, I didn't come to the wiki often as I'd just started AC1) and it felt awesome knowing that you had the knowledge and could choose to use it or not. My brother didn't pay much attention to the investigations when he first played and missed out several awesome opportunities.
