My guess is that Erudito is a group of individuals not just one person. Possibly a third faction outside of the Assassins or Templars but more closely related to the Assassins philosophy. Anyways, a Ubiworkshop blog on the Assassin's Creed: The Encyclopedia said that they will be releasing more details about Erudito in November.
