Well, I tried drawing some concepts of the Hidden Blade. I even starred at the Hidden Blade schematics in the Codex page for a pretty long time just to get the idea how the hell it could work. I made 4 concept drawings and already threw 2 of them through the window (it wouldn't work as it should). As for 2 other drawings - one is a bit complicated to build, and the other would work perfectly fine. The only problem about this one is that if you try to hit some one with it, the blade will automaticly withdraw back, and so it isn't dangerous. It would be better to build a non-dangerous version of the Hidden Blade, but if it isn't dangerous then what's the point of the Hidden Blade??

And a little tip for others: if you can't find and buy the Hidden Blade replicas on the internet, then I suggest that you make your own.
