Ezio had 23 years to hone his skills as a Master Assassin. And Altair was 25 when Assassin's Creed was happening. He got the Apple, and I'm sure that if AC3 takes place after the Renaissance, the character will get all sorts of Ezio inventions too. His clothes looked awesome as hell. And he was a really good character to get into, responding humanly to things, not going "WTF IS THIS NONSENS". Ezio wins, hands down.

He also wasn't bastardized twice in portable games.
