Just my opinion...I'd pick Altair. His outfit looks better suited for long travels. Also, he didn't need a lot of weapons unlike Ezio. The Syrian Longsword, the Short Blade, Hidden Blade, and throwing knives were enough to get the job done. Also, Ezio can lose his weapons(hence he needs to buy a variety, or disarm). I also find Altair's longsword moves better than Ezio, especially the heavy attacks. Altair also has no need to wield weapons other than his own, 'cause he never loses 'em. Ezio's got a few better free-running skills, but I say Altair has an edge in combat.
