Romani are the new Courtesans. Thieves can be seen in some of the trailers standing on rooftops, with a new looks though. This indicates that Mercenaries will be back as well. Hope that they are upgraded though, the factions were quite useless in Brotherhood once you had a proper Assassin guild.
