So, Desmond is related to both Altaïr and Ezio, but Altaïr and Ezio are not related to each other. So someone from Altaïr's family has had to marry into Ezio's family at some stage for Desmond to be related to both. Do you think they will reveal any of this to us in Revelation's, or leave it until AC: 3 is released? I suppose we can only wait and see when we play Revelation's. XD
