Well the Lead Writer has stated a few times now, that Edward is a "priate first and Assassin second". We're playing mainly as a pirate for this game, that much is certain, because McDevitt was quoted in saying that. He also said that if he could describe Edward's story in a sentence, it would be of "immorality and repentance".

So that gives you a fair idea of what BF will be about.
