The Templars were not cowards by killing the Auditores. Nothing is true, everything is permitted; No matter how cowardice an action may seem, it serves its purpose nonetheless. To seek the dream of a New World Order, or as the Assassin's do, the halt of that dream, one cannot be blinded by illusions of honor and cowardice/bravery. The Auditores were a threat to that dream. It matters not how they were taken care of, only that they were.
