I'm sorry but I'm shooting this down completely. Just finished AC:B and before Juno made Desmond stab Lucy, she said "There is one who would accompany you through the gate. She lies not within our sight." Rebecca was there, in their sight, so it couldn't be her. This theory was based on the fact that both Eve and Rebecca had/have armbands, and despite being a somewhat good theory, the armband thing just doesn't really mean anything or hold it together.
