I personally don't have a problem with his voice, I think it might change betwee now and when the game comes out Mischief night (Night before Halloween), its happened with Altair in Revelations and I believe Ezio for ACII.

I think it follows Altair's pattern of not having an accent even though he's half Native American, but it also follows the pattern of most Americans at this time period didn't have a distinguished accent yet.
