I believe the next game will be more futuristic in parts ( set in the future but will allow Desmond to access the past i.e. his present in the previous two games, in order to fill in the blanks that players would miss out on ) and I believe that Ezio, (possibly Altair too) will meet but moreso that their consciousnesses will meet via the animuus or with the aid of subject 16.
