Ezio allowed Rodrigo to live because killing would not bring back Ezio's Father and Brothers, but because Ezio didn't kill Rodrigo Cesare was ordered by his father to besiege Moniterrigoni, so I think Ezio will kill both Rodrigo and Cesare, he won't make the same mistake again.
