Well, the samurai were very well trained, so they would make for aggressive and hard enemies. While the shinobi would be fighting similar to player and use trickery. For example, the ninja stored mixed powders inside their sword sheath, so when they drew their weapons in battle they would try and get the powder in their enemy's eyes. Samurai, well they can do a lot with them. Different ones uses different variations of sword, etc.
