How can they exactly work? and I personally think there are limits to what a Assassin can carry, a shield really goes into the Warrior category.

Besides, wont it sort of make the combat...more defensive? while they want more offensive combat system. Not sure about it, since I do not know much about the usage of the shield in Ancient Greece, but pretty sure it was for defensive purposes.
