Every single blog on here has this debate and it is getting very old very quickly. I am not even going to go back over all the good points others have pointed out about this. It is a marketing strategy because gaming companies think it will increase sales in America and will not upset any Americans sense of patriotism (now I am not saying that as an insult but you would be surprised by the cautious nature of marketeers when it comes to politics).
