If they do make a game all about Desmond, I know guns'll be out of the picture. Ubisoft made it clear in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood that they don't want guns just as much as we do.

When did they say this? When Desmond asked Rebecca if ever went into the Animus, she replied that she did, and her ancestor was a (insert nationality here) mercenary who fought at some war. She said she got bored after a short while, because it was just a shoot-out, all guns and stuff. She said it was no fun, to which Shaun agrees. Shaun even said "Guns are for sissies!" at the end of Rebecca's story.
