Alright, has no one considered both the beginning of Assassin's Creed One and the final battle of Assassin's Creed two? Altair was all aloof and proud so Al Mualim stabs him in the stomach... I'm not positive but it looked like abdomen to me. As you all may have picked up from the fact that the story did not end there, he survived. Next we see Ezio fighting old Rodrigo Borgia. He too gets poked harshly in the abdomen. He's overall okay. Both had the apple with them when they were wounded. Lucy just so happened to fall right next to Desmond who was holding the apple. Coincidence? I think not.
