Well, she was left to fend for herself during her undercover time. That's a lot of years, things like that could make you rethink things. And unfortunately, even the Assassins have flaws. She's either manipulated, or she believed that the Templars were doing the right thing. There are also speculations that she never turned over to the Templars and instead was brainwashed (or something similar) because in the conversation in the DLC it was more of a one-way conversation and she never said anything. Although this could also be Ubisoft not bothering to bring Kristen Bell back just for one short conversation in a DLC. I'm so depressed over her storyline I'm no longer excited for the Modern Day Time... *sigh*
