Guys I think lucy is alive as it doesn't looked like she will survive that stab.I hope that it was an illusion for not getting diverted from the real aim of Juno.Assassin's creed revelation says that he was locked in animus after this incidence.I think it is because of the reason that they are afraid of the reason that if he come back to the modern world he will know the truth or the truth will be revealed infront of him.The sentance "The path must be opened" must be meaning that all the others except Juno and Edmond must be cleared to clear the path for them.
