The people (like Cesare Borgia, he wasn't a super evil guy in RL) that Leonardo and Noccolò spoke of weren't that evil people in real life. Machiavelli's book (Il principe) was about a man like Cesare Borgia but with Ezio in the AC universe it could also be about him.
