An interesting point. However, you must remember that "no man can love two masters, either he will hate the one or love the other." Which is a truth. You cannot truly love your friends if you're serving their enemy.

Lucy was showing true affection, IMO, to her friends. Why would she, then, have any loyalty to the Templars?
