English Civil War, the 1642 - 1651 one. Though seeing as they'll already have done Victorian London, I doubt we'll be going back to England. The far east could work very well if they choose the right time frame, doesn't have to be feudal Japan or imperial China as so many people request. To be honest, off the top of my head, I don't even know exaclty what centuries 'feudal Japan' existed in, though knowing what the feudal system is I'd assume the middle ages. I'd love to go further back in time, especially to Egypt (like Sima said earlier, I'd like to know the stories of the Monterrigioni sanctuary assassins, and perhaps this could be an oppurtunity to play as Amunet? That'd also be good as we'd have a female protagonist in a main game, finally). I have vouched for inter-war Europe in the past, though that's mainly because I like the history, and that'd probably work best as a comic, as would an international Cold War setting, which I'd also like to see.

Essentially, I feel we have to go back in time from here. I have vouched for a Victorian London setting for a long time and now we're getting one, we've gone close enough to modern times for my liking. So as long as the next AC, or any AC's in the future, take place earlier than 1868, I'm happy.
