Wow: I have said before (in other forums) that I didn't like the way Alex kept saying "what happened before - happened, but..."

And like I saw Kain say lower in the thread... they are making the games now seem a little... erm... Simplistic, in terms of story for potential (and the lazy) players. What bright spark thought: "Oh, I know, lets get rid of that 30 seconds to 1 minute of philosophical talk between target and killer: the fans will hate it, but hey... it makes it easier for the other guys that will play for a few days and then bugger of."

While the game looks brilliant, I have started to fear a little bit from these "entry points" and "contained stories". What happened to arcs/cycles? Doesn't have to be Desmond-like: but at least make a continuous story that actually spans for 3 - 5 games at a time. Are we YOU (that was repeatedly said for BF) or are we the, what appears to be, NEW YOU that Alex seems to keep saying (Or am I the only one hearing him say it like that?)

But hearing the memory corridor has gone is... I dunno... I don't like it. I think it is one of the more memorable trademark parts of the game: giving your victim a voice, a confession, a snort of derision . We will se how it works in game. But before then, I just hope Corey stops these stupid changes sooner rather than later.
