Good to hear Eagle. You are a modern kid. Yes he is correct however since complications arise when multiple people share the same name in such a huge world, I myself believe it is best to make each person unique by having new names for first and middle name, or follow one of the Japanese(and other cultures too) custom of using a fusion of characters from both parents names in order to create a new name. However I do find a problem when certain ancient family names go extinct, in other words, when the only surviving members from old lineages are girls and they marry, change their names, thus effectively erasing the ancestral family name. This makes it difficult to trace back famous families, and so far the only fix I see is in cultures when the child gains both Family names and preserves the line. Who knew naming was such a headache...
