So basically, when she got them a drink, she used the ring to poison it? That would make for an interesting game element for the multiplayer, but I don't think it will be, because it's Lucrezia's weapon, and she's probably not going to be in the multiplayer and a playable character.

Then again, the Templars could have always reproduced her weapon and gave it to one of the Animi trainees.
