User blog:Kabutsu/The Crimson Polls II: 09

Hey guys! As I'm sure you're aware, I was away on holiday last week (and yes it was much better than the year-round 14*C greyness of England, before you ask), and so Crimson had to fill in (thanks, by the way!). One thing I thought I'd touch upon before the polls was something I've never noticed before: only 2 blogs had enough comments to be featured in the "Popular blog posts" box at the side. Nothing exciting anyone recently? I suppose there's not been much news on Black Flag since E3, so it could be a bit of a slow news period from Ubisoft. I reckon it must be a slow news period for me to resort to remarking upon the popularity of blog posts...

Anyway, rather than listen to me ramble on, I think it would be best to get into the polls!

Polls=[edit | edit source]

This Week's Polls

My Poll[edit | edit source]

<poll> How are you going to take down enemy ships in Black Flag? Ramming Using standard shots to sink them Using special shots (e.g. heat, grape, etc.) to sink them Dropping gunpowder barrels in their path (as shown in E3 demo) Exposing weak spots Board and raid </poll>

[User:Username Was supposed to be Crimson]]'s Poll...[edit | edit source]

<poll> ...but he didn't have enough information to make one (see last week's Polls). So I'll ask you: What were your favourite 'platforming levels' in the series? Assassin Tombs of AC2 Lairs of Romulus of AC:B Memory Seal Tombs of AC:R The Underground Network of AC3 Peg Leg Missions of AC3 </poll>

Question of the Week=[edit | edit source]

I saw a discussion on this going on in a [Forum:Aveline in ACIV!!!|forum]] earlier, and I thought I could bring it here: the Playstation editions of Blag Flag will contain 3 exclusive Aveline missions. Whatever can their relevance be to Black Flag, and also to the AC lore as a whole?

The End, and A Question=[edit | edit source]

  1. Seeing as I have now finished school until September after finishing my exams, I have a lot of spare time, and I believed it best to spend some of it writing a fanon. My dilemma is that I'm unsure of when and where it should take place. I have already started two fanons ([ACFanon:The Apple|The Apple] and [ACFanon:Pandemonium|Pandemonium]), but I am also considering starting a new one. SO:

<poll> Should I continue one of my current fanons? The Apple, set in 19th Century Britain and France Pandemonium, set in early-to-mid 20th Century Europe </poll>

OR

<poll> Should I begin afresh, in _____? The Struggles of Sparta and Athens against King Xerxes and his Persian Empire The Reign of Charlemagne in 9th Century France The Fall of the T'ang Dynasty in 9th-10th Century Imperial China The Persecution of Catholics and Protestants and the Survival of the Spanish Armada in Tudor England The English Civil War The Persecution of Christians in 17th Century Japan The Fall of EITHER the Mayans OR the Incas (Please specify) Depression America </poll> Any votes would be much appreciated! ^__^

  1. Finally, it would be great if you could visit this place to help the polls move along.
