My name is Panos. I live in Greece. Since summer of 2010 I have been playing Assassin's Creed and haven't missed a single game of the franchise. I have to admit that the franchise have taught me many things in my real life, which helped me improve my personality, my ideology, my beliefs, my behaviour towards other people, and for this I am really grateful.
Early life[edit | edit source]
I was born in 1996 in Northern Greece. Ever since i had been in a peaceful pace, not involving myself politicaly in my country and not worrying for anything at all.
Summer of 2010[edit | edit source]
Having finished school and with summer vacations ahead of me, I decided I wanted to try any new game and spend my time playing it. A friend of mine suggested that I started playing Assassin's Creed, considering that it would attract my attention. Truth to be told, I had already tried the game in an internet cafe of my hometown and it did amazed me. I took his suggestion seriously and finally got my hands on Assassin's Creed 1 on my PC. I really did like it, as it kept me in front of my screen for a long period. My problem was that my PC didn't have all the requirements to run Assassin's Creed properly. I had to deal with lag and it was ruining my gameplay.
One month later, I decided to solve the lag problem by buying a PS3. So it happened. The first games I was playing there was InFamous and Killzone 2. However, my strongest desire was to get my hands on Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 (which I played by luck on an internet cafe again).
Fall of 2010[edit | edit source]
That fall, I managed to buy Assassin's Creed 2. I felt really nice, but I had won the game already, as I rented the game twice at summer. Creating a strong bond with this game and, generally, with the series was just a matter of days. With Assassin's Creed Brotherhood ahead of me, I couldn't wait for it to come out.
When 17th November had finally come, I was one of the first who bought the game, and immediately, I started reliving the memories of my favourite videogame character ever, Ezio Auditore. When I took a taste of the AC:B Multiplayer, I got obsessed with it too.
The stong bond[edit | edit source]
Assassin's Creed is just the perfect game for me. The stealth type games are my favourite type of games, and Assassin's Creed came to fullfil the greatness with its "historic adventure" character. Also, the presence of the hidden blade gave me a whole new experience of gameplay. Assassin's Creed 1 was great, as you could gather information on your target and plan your moves. Assassin's Creed 2 had much better graphics, an epic story and epic gameplay (which is why it has become my favourite one among the 3 games). Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is the one that had the best graphics of all 3 games, and had also the epic multiplayer
In my opinion, the Assassin's Creed series wouldn't be that successful without the contribution of Jesper Kyd in it, along with his awesome soundtrack. Every single song by him was great. It is really nice that he keeps creating the soundtrack for the series (as we can see from his contribution in Assassin's Creed: Revelations). I also believe that the combined powers of 3 artists, Jepser Kyd, Lorne Bolfe and Hans Zimmer (who helped Bolfe create the Theme song of the game) will make the game a masterpiece.
