The Story so far...[edit | edit source]

My name is Altair, I am an Assassin that has seen the truth. My master, Al Mualim, sent me on a perilous quest to kill 9 Templar commanders because of my failure at Soloman's Temple. This quest changed my life forever, as I found out the treachery of my Master and an ancient plot by the Templars. Al Mualim had been a Templar, but he did not wish to share the Apple of Eden with any other Templar. The Apple is some sort of ancient relic made by a strange God-like race of superhumans, called 'Those Who Came Before'. My own battle with Al Mualim showed my fear in many ways. But seeing that the Apple could be resisted, I took the advantage and struck my master down, Killing him. I took the Apple and I made a Lightweight set of armor that I used as my robes as Grand Master of the Assassin's Order. But I kept my own robes on top of them. I had then gone to Cyprus. I defeated the Templars there and now the Crusades have ended for now. But now I realize that there is something bigger at stake, and I can't do it alone. But maybe I don't have to...

I met someone. Her name was Maria. She was a Templar, but I think she's now on my side. She accompanied me on my quest to liberate Cyprus from the hands of the Templars. But she's gone somewhere else. I'm going to take the Apple to where it wants to go. A place called 'The Vault' in Italy. I must go, as the Apple must be obayed at all times. Even when it is at its most weakest. I've set sale from the Port of Tyre, and I hope to get to Venice, Italy, before the sun rises on the second day.

My name is Altair. This is my story.

1) Last Day at Masyaf[edit | edit source]

I called a city-wide meeting during the early hours of today, as soon as I said I would be leaving and not coming back most of the citizens started to cry. The Assassins put their swords to their chest and bowed their heads. I was the Grand Master of the Assassins, and Masyaf felt protected around me. But since I was leaving, they wouldn't feel safe any more. I needed to make an assassin the next Grand Master of the Assassins. And I already knew who I'd be making the next Grand Master.

Malik.

I said that I was going to take The Apple far away from the Holy Land, and with the city under the safe guard of Malik A-Sayf, I would probably succeed in my quest. I also told them that even though I'm leaving, they should remember me as their friend, not their leader. So I took my Grand Master Assassin Robes off, and gave them to Malik. And I said to the crowd the one thing that I've learnt all through my Life...

"Nothing is true. Everything is Permitted"

I took Malik to my office, and told him that the title of Grand Master was a very hard life. He was up to it for sure. I just needed to pack my Gear and then I'd set off for Acre. And as I walked to the gates of Masyaf, the entire Creed followed behind me. (That's 6,000,000,000 Assassins) The city was quiet. Everyone was mourning my passing. But as I stood at the Gates, I said one last time. "Nothing Is True. Everything is Permitted." and with that, I left the city. I remembered all the fun times I had at Masyaf, especially when I nearly trampled Robert de Sable with Logs. I should not have been thinking of this, but It was actually quite Ironic.

I mounted my horse, and I set off for Acre.
