Hm, odd, considering that this would be an historical inaccuracy and also contradictory to the main game. Although the walkthrough for iPod Touch appears to be official (and thus canon), it wouldn't make any sense; the term Knight's Templar really refers to certain soldiers, the ones encountered in the citadel and the district are the ones of Richard. Thus, I'd say that keeping the way it is now would be safe.
