Thegn's Great Helm

The Thegn's Great Helm was a type of helmet used by nobles in England during the 9th century.

During her travels, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan acquired this great helm from a chest in the Old Minster, Wincestre. She would also acquire the other pieces belonging to the same set of armor.
