The Trading Seal

The Trading Seal was a teppō that Yasuke obtained in 1582. That year, Yasuke and fellow Kakushiba ikki member Fujibayashi Naoe met with Hosokawa Fujitaka in order to prevent a possible alliance between him and Akechi Mitsuhide, in turn being tasked with investigating a silver-smuggling ring affecting him.[1] The pair followed a lead into one of its members, Fernam Moreno, locating him at Fukuchiyama Castle, Tamba. They then assassinated the smuggler, recovering the firearm from his personal effects.[2]
