Am I the only one thinking he is, in fact, Hermes?

I could heven go as far as saying that Pythagoras, Giovanni Borgia and John Dee are all possessed, or an incarnation of Hermes.

Why am I thinking that? Well, first off, Frater V.O.V's "immortality", as well as the fact that he seems to know much more than he shows, and that he claims to know people from many time periods. In the other memories, Pythagoras, Giovanni and John are all seen from an exterior point of view, and beahve in unpredictable, though very precise ways.

I know this is pure speculations, but I think there may be something in this Frater V.O.V...What do you think?
