Guys, try to incorporate the images into the article instead of creating "Galeries". -- D. Cello 16:03, December 11, 2009 (UTC)

  • I'm actually a fan of the Gallery look as opposed to trying to incorporate the images into the article, because unless you figure out a way to used fixed positioning to add the image, then on other computer/browser, it will create a different looking format. On the other hand, galleries are simplistic, and gives the user the option to decide whether they want to see the images. This is just my two cents though, feel free to go with whatever you'd like. - Wagnike2 19:02, December 11, 2009 (UTC)

With excess of images, sure. But when we have much text and few images, the articles gets long and simplsitic, with all the iamges at bottom. Comparing, Altaïr and Ezio articles with images incorporated are better than Borgia's and Venice's with galleries. It makes the article more diversified and less boring, I believe. Anyway, the majority of the wiki has images incorporated, so leaing those articles with gallery would creat a discrepance on the manual of style we're trying to create. I think the gallery should only be used when you have few info text and many pictures... -- D. Cello 19:08, December 11, 2009 (UTC)

I agree with Wagnike in this matter. Gallery is just nice. Sometimes incorporating image on the article will make it looks messy. In some wiki, gallery is used to display artwork pictures though ^^ - SilverSummonerTaLk 01:20, December 12, 2009 (UTC)

99,4% (and up) of the articles of this wiki doesn't use the gallery. It should be used as a resort for too many pictures, not a standard for every page. We have great looking pages with the pictures integrated, we've should not and will not change them. -- D. Cello 02:47, December 12, 2009 (UTC)

Who likes Venice[edit source]

I love venice I think it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and it's my favourite city in all of assassins creed II. I think another one of the most beautiful cities in the world is Hong Kong and New York City at night.Andrew nicholson 18:05, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

I like Tokyo... XD - SilverSummonerTaLk 18:23, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

Venice is without doubt the most beautiful city in the AC series, unfortunate it's bairly in AC:B. Even though I know it will never happen, New Zealand is an amazing country, perfect combinations of forests, lakes, caverns and other natural scenery. It would be good to see AC going somewhere in the Southern Hemisphere. 'R BlaiddDdraig 05:55, December 20, 2010 (UTC)

I just wanted to talk before I did something, but I saw that Jasca moved the video to the right so that it stands in order with the pictures. While I agree that everything should be in order, it does make the space between the 'Santa Maria Dei Frari' and the 'Assassination Targets' rather big and it looks very empty now. So wouldn't it be better if we placed the video left there, to fill the space up? -- Altaïr 15:35, March 16, 2010 (UTC)

  • There is a sizeable space there now, I agree. But i find having the video on the left is quite unsightly IMO. Personally, I would like for a seperate article to be created for each of the landmarks, and then we can place the video on the Santa Maria dei Frari article. Thinking it over, I would actually prefer the video not being in the article; It's about Venice, not the Assassins' tombs. I agree. The video should be moved to the article of the 'Santa Maria Dei Frari itself. There is already such an article. So I'll remove it and place it there. Altaïr 16:41, March 16, 2010 (UTC)

"or Venezia"[edit source]

The current lead sentence: "Venice, or Venezia to its residents" seems to imply that the city has two different names, rather than the fact that they are two different translations of the same name. I suggest we go back to using "Venice (Italian: Venezia)", or a derivative thereof as that would be more correct. Any objections? --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 10:44, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

That does indeed make more sense. Nesty Contact me! 12:32, June 18, 2013 (UTC)
No objection from me. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 12:42, June 18, 2013 (UTC)
