Having just seen the film myself, what even remotely implies the events of the film miraculously take place before the events of Discovery? Because as far as I'm aware Discovery ends in or around January 1492 and I highly doubt the events of the film are squeezed in before the end of January. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 22:46, January 18, 2017 (UTC)

Ah, I see why. Ezio's assassination attempt came after Columbus left for the New World. Only issue there is that on his first journey he left from Palos, not Cadíz. In the film he leaves from Cadíz, which is where he set sail from on his second journey in 1493. He did pass by Cadíz on his first journey, but I can't tell if he also dropped anchor there. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 22:58, January 18, 2017 (UTC)

To be fair, Columbus did sail close to Cadíz on his first voyage, although he evidently didn't make landfall there. It's plausable that, in the AC-verse, Columbus could've briefly stopped at Cadíz, received the Apple from Aguilar and then not make any record of his stay there in order to keep his possession of the Apple a secret. I could've sworn this talk page was full of our discussions about the contradictions in timeline between the different media and how to synchronize them together, yet somehow it's not here anymore nor does the history show it. I can't find it on any other article either. I remember on one character's talk page we talked a lot about these dating issues... it should've been this one. Did someone delete the talk page to this...? Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 14:21, January 23, 2017 (UTC)
Have you looked at your own blog about the film's inconsistencies or Maxattac's talk page? Crook The Constantine District 14:32, January 23, 2017 (UTC)
I was sure it wasn't my blog, but turns out, it is Maxattac's talk page thank you! :D Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 16:13, January 23, 2017 (UTC)
