Definite article or no[edit source]
I know theoretically, an organization can have "the" within its name, but in practice, when an organization is referred with a preceding definite article, the definite article is never capitalized. I've never seen a case where it is capitalized such as it is in this article so far, and I'm really skeptical that that's grammatically correct. The only time I know when capitalizing the definite article when it is part of a name mid-sentence is with book titles. For example, The Lord of the Rings where a common mistake is that people spell it the Lord of the Rings or write it as the Lord of the Rings.
But with organization names, it's very rare for the definite article to be part of the actual name. Even when it is, the definite article is never capitalized as far as I know. We have an issue in this wiki where we are not sure whether we should include the definite article or not, such as with The Duelist and Duellist even though both have to be referred to with a definite article (i.e. the Duelist and the Duellist respectively).
