Presence[edit source]
If she's only indirectly referenced, but never named, should she even be on this wiki? Sadelyrate (siniath) 10:27, June 16, 2020 (UTC)
- An indirect reference is still a reference. So long as we know for sure that Pan's flute is named "Syrinx", then a page for her should exist. If theres an indirect reference and we don't know who its referring to then it shouldn't exist. V i l k a T h e W o l f (talk) 10:47, June 16, 2020 (UTC)
- The item description actually describes a bit more, so I guess that kinda counts? XOdeyssusx (talk) 03:35, June 19, 2020 (UTC)
- Ah, yes.
- Pan's Flute, This is the magical flute of Pan of the Pastures. He named it Syrinx, after the wood nymph who rejected him and changed into river reeds. Pan made the reeds into the pipes for his flute, so in the end she didn't escape him after all, which is quite sad.
- Been too long since I played that memory. Thanks for reminding me. Sadelyrate (siniath) 08:32, June 19, 2020 (UTC)
